ghost town lyric visuals

At the end of my first quarter at DePaul, I was assigned the task of creating a series of ten illustrations that went along with a series of lyrics of my choice. For this project, I chose the song Ghost Town by Kanye West because it has a lot of raw emotion and some good creative imagery.

To create these lyric visuals, I first based the color palette off of the cover art to the song's album, Ye. I then went with a simple, clean design style that allows all 10 of the illustrations to flow together smoothly. I was very happy with how this turned out and it is a personal favorite of mine. The illustrations were some of my best at the time, but I am happy to have improved even further since then.
