MUSIC VISUALIZATION

As a final project for my digital illustration class at DePaul University, we were tasked with making a poster that properly visualized a certain genre of music. Design elements, colors, and illustrations had to have the same feel as the music did. For my genre, I chose cloud rap, which is typically known for it's slow lo-fi, druggy type of sound. To get this feeling across in my design, I used a trippy purple and pink color scheme to make it feel almost like a dream. Along with this, I used lots of light and airy design elements to add to that feeling - such as clouds and the moon.
